Our Prescient Business Operations team manages the day-to-day operations of our business so it runs as efficiently as possible. It supports our client-facing consultants and enables our group of businesses to continue to scale and grow. From finance and people processes to IT infrastructure, it ensures that Prescient has the necessary elements in the right place at the right time to enable our people to provide excellence to our clients.

Marketing

Quality & Compliance

Our Quality & Compliance team is made up of professionals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets who provide support to various teams around Prescient. They ensure that we continue to lawfully provide high-quality services and deliverables that help biopharmaceutical companies develop, launch and market medicines that expand treatment options, optimize patient outcomes and deliver high levels of return. Their commitment is to vigilantly support our teams to deliver consistent high quality, while at all times complying with ethical and legal standards.

Finance

The Finance team’s role is keeping Prescient financially strong and providing accurate and timely management information to support dynamic business decision making. This team acts as true collaborative partners to Prescient’s different business functions, supporting strategy and providing recommendations based off of accounting and finance best practices. They take care of the numbers so our business can continue to grow and prosper.

Information Technology

Our IT team has the role of ensuring our teams are operating in a safe, secure environment with the tools and support needed to deliver consistently high-quality deliverables to clients. At Prescient, data security and client confidentiality is our key priority and our IT teams play a large part in ensuring the physical security of the work that our consultants do. They are also responsible for making sure our teams have best-in-class tools to support their work needs.

What did you do before joining Prescient?

I was working as a full-time technical translator in Bogotá, Colombia.

What appealed to you about Prescient?

I was excited to apply my familiarity with medical texts and terminology in a new way.

What do you spend your time doing?

Lots of reading documents very carefully – whether they are client deliverables, client contracts or the details of new projects we’ve won!

What do you value about your job?

I value that I’m always learning.

What impact do you feel you are making?

Both QC and Compliance are about protecting the company: Either protecting us from making embarrassing mistakes, or protecting us from risk.

How do you develop your team? How do you support and nurture talent?

The proofreaders on our QC Team receive character-by-character feedback on deliverables. I meet throughout the week with the members of the Compliance Team to discuss relevant issues. I encourage all of my employees to participate in external professional development opportunities.

How do you turn science into value?

My teams make sure that science is clearly, concisely and consistently communicated to our clients.

What did you do before joining Prescient?

I held roles in non-profit and commercial sectors within the biopharmaceutical industry, primarily focused on global oncology and the Americas region.

What appealed to you about Prescient?

The US East Coast office was so warm and welcoming. I met the entire global team during my first week and felt part of the “Prescient family” immediately.

What do you spend your time doing?

I spend much of my time formulating how Prescient should go to market with various digital and print campaigns. I am responsible for how the Prescient team represents themselves in the external marketplace with key stakeholder groups such as current and potential clients, investors and recruitment candidates.

What do you value about your job?

I enjoy driving the strategic direction of the Prescient brand through the development of strategic marketing programs and thought leadership initiatives.

What impact do you feel you are making?

I have really enjoyed developing the new Prescient Corporate brand platform, providing us with a great visual identity that supports the work that our talented consultants do.

What have you learned?

The great thing about Prescient is that everyone has the opportunity to develop their skills. I recently was certified in Employer Branding from the Employer Branding Academy.

How do you turn science into value?

I love the opportunity to externalize the powerful vision and thinking of the leadership team and subject matter experts into a powerful value proposition and messaging that resonates with our clients and incoming talent.
