I joined Prescient as a senior primary researcher, a role that enables me to use my solid interpersonal skills and make a difference in the development of new cutting-edge therapies.
I am now back running regularly again. I ran the Rotterdam Marathon a few years ago and nearly got run over by a tram, fast approaching behind me, as I walked back to the hotel!
What did you do before joining Prescient?I worked in preclinical drug discovery at the start of my career. More recently, I was working as an executive search consultant and practice lead for a global healthcare firm.
Why did you join Prescient?I joined Prescient as a senior primary researcher, a role that enables me to use my solid interpersonal skills and make a difference in the development of new cutting-edge therapies.
What do you do on a day-to-day basis?I conduct primary research by interviewing respondents via phone, and I write up their insightful comments for the project teams.
What surprised you about Prescient?I have been impressed by the strong, collective team spirit across Prescient, as well as the accessibility of the senior management team members to support us all.
What is the best part of your workday?Getting an insightful interview after several attempts.
What do you value about your job?I feel warm respect as a colleague within the Prescient family and for primary research.
What have you learned?As we are all currently working remotely, I have learned some good strategies for team building in this setting.
What impact do you feel you are making?I help project teams conduct primary research more effectively and assist pharmaceutical companies in de-risking their clinical and commercial development projects.
