We are excited to announce that Strategic North, part of Prescient Healthcare Group, has been highly commended and selected as finalists in a few categories – ‘Best Customer Insight’, ‘Best Patient-Centric Approach’ and ‘Best Newcomer’ – at this year’s prestigious Best of British Intelligence (BOBI) Awards by the British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association.

Best Customer Insight Approach Award

The ‘Best Customer Insight Approach’ is awarded for a research or analytical project that has increased understanding of target customers and had a positive impact on strategic decision making. Submitted in partnership with Bristol Myers Squibb, ‘Rebooting a Brand Campaign in Oncology Through the Nuanced Understanding of a Target Customer Persona’ describes how Strategic North and Bristol Myers Squibb developed a suite of actionable HCP personas in an oncology indication. The findings gave Bristol Myers Squibb a broadened understanding of these customers and enabled them to optimize the omnichannel customer journey. Congratulations to John Grime, Emma Brooks, Rebecca Bennett, Ishaan Chaudhury and Jess Menzies from Strategic North on your nomination.

Best Patient-Centric Approach Award

The ‘Best-Patient-Centric Approach’ is awarded for a research project or analytical approach that has helped a company to put patients at the heart of decision making. Submitted in partnership with Bristol Myers Squibb, ‘Shining a Light on the Inequality of Cancer Outcomes Across the UK’ describes how Strategic North and Bristol Myers Squibb worked together to gather insights from underrepresented and hard-to-reach groups, enabling the team to shine a light on the lived experiences and stories of patients that was validated in a large quantitative study. These insights informed a nationwide campaign aimed at reducing healthcare inequalities. Congratulations to Patrick Phelan, Lucas Daly, Nila Sanyal, Issy Parry and Mel Samson from Strategic North on your nomination.

Best Newcomer Award

The ‘Best Newcomer’ is awarded to a newcomer with up to three years’ experience in business intelligence who performs best in a series of individual challenges on a competition day. The event was held in London on May 19, with newcomers from across the spectrum of business intelligence demonstrating their broad skills and overall understanding of the healthcare environment. Congratulations to Issy Parry and Emma Brooks from Strategic North on your nomination.

We congratulate all the highly commended finalists and wish them good luck at the upcoming awards ceremony on June 12, 2023.
