Ilias Paniaras is a Senior Principal within the Medical Advisory team, bringing over eight years of experience spanning startups, business development, and life sciences consulting. He is aligned to Prescient’s Evidence Strategy and RWE offering, specializing in integrated evidence planning, value communication, data landscaping, epidemiology, and the design and execution of retrospective real-world studies. Ilias partners with pharmaceutical and biotech organizations to shape evidence generation strategies that support access, adoption, and clinical decision-making across the product lifecycle.
Prior to joining Prescient, Ilias held roles at Decision Resources Group (DRG) and Clarivate. At DRG, he served as an Engagement Manager within the HEOR and market access consulting arm, Abacus International, where he led global evidence and value strategy engagements alongside business development and sales enablement initiatives across the broader consulting organization. He also co-founded a startup focused on streamlining patient recruitment for clinical trials, developing technology-enabled solutions to enhance site identification and enrollment efficiency. Ilias holds a BSc in Pharmacology and an MSc in Drug Discovery & Pharmaceutical Management from UCL. He has experience across oncology, immunology, and ophthalmology, leading global evidence programs while supporting regional and local strategic workstreams and real-world studies.
