Elena joined Dolon over 6 years ago, with more than 15 years of experience in the field. She specialises in market access policy and, notably, is currently spearheading the EU ALS Coalition. She is an expert in the OD Expert Group, a member of the HTAi Rare Disease Interest Group, and Guest Editor for a Value in Health themed issue on rare diseases (2024). She has published more than 20 papers on rare diseases.
Prior to Dolon, Elena co-led a Work Package in IMPACT-HTA that developed guidance on appraising rare disease treatments, worked as a research officer at LSE Health, as a clinical trial unit coordinator at the University Hospital of Lausanne, and as an administrator of the Swiss Vaccine Research Institute. She completed a PhD in Social Policy at LSE.
