Katy is a Client Partner and co-lead of the Medical Affairs practice at Prescient, where she drives a growing center of excellence dedicated to helping pharmaceutical clients build and optimize their Medical Affairs functions.
Since earning her Master’s degree in Bioscience from Keck Graduate Institute, Katy has built her career at the intersection of medical strategy and operational excellence, including foundational consulting experience at Promidian (now Eversana).
Katy specializes in supporting pharmaceutical clients at pre- and peri-launch inflection points, with expertise spanning Medical Affairs strategy and planning, KOL engagement, functional design, capability building, and operational optimization. One focus area is on field and training team excellence and developing the organizational playbooks and frameworks that equip Medical Affairs teams to perform at their best. Her primary therapeutic experience is in oncology and hematology.
At Prescient, Katy is focused on expanding the firm’s Medical Affairs capabilities, driving quality client delivery, and championing the professional development of her teams. She was recognized as an HBA Rising Star in 2023, honoring her impact as a leader shaping the future of the healthcare and life sciences industry.
